CHALLENGES
The crime of domestic violence is overlooked where the predator is only punished for little time while the victim is traumatized forever. Abuse is physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. Anyone can be a victim of domestic violence, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, faith or class.
SOLUTION
A platform to help users overcome the difficulties caused by domestic violence. will help our target segment approach conversation with their partners, while not directly speaking to them. help our target segment voice be heard by making victim’s stories global.
There are telephone hotlines available globally and nationally to aid victims and survivors. They offer counseling, emotional support, community education, legal assistance and even manage safe housing for them. Some hotlines are NYSCADV- New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, National Domestic Violence Hotline etc.

When I am trying to get into an intimate relationship, I want to set certain boundaries that I am not uncomfortable with so I can have a healthy relationship with my partner.
When I am failing toconnect with my partner, I want my partner to take the initiative to understandme and make me feel better so i can learn to express better and have a healthy relationship.
When I am afraid of making new connections with people and having a family, I want to feel comfortable to go out and meet people so I can have a healthy social life and connections.

Connexus is a global server in the discord app with 3 main channels. Users are able to keep themselves updated with current events related to domestic violence in #general.
FIND ANOTHER SURVIVOR
Users are able to tell their story and seek comfort in #tell-your-story. The channel has sensitive word detection to avoid triggers. Users are able to have one on one conversations as well.
HEART 2 HEART
#Heart2Heart allows users to seek a way to communicate with partner through Discord AI Technology.

Connexus will create an inviting and welcoming community for users to share their stories and make meaningful commections with survivors.

Be Comforting. Use a soft lavender color for a calming effect. Minimal Style. Use simple illustrations with rounded corners to appear friendly. Monotoned. Address the extremity of the issue.

Mind mapping is essential. Mind mapping is of great help when it comes to ideation. Community is Key. Form an informed community, where users can share their experiences and provide valuable insights to others.
Sensitive word detection is important. Some words may be a trigger to people so enabling sensitive word detection or content allows users to feel safe.
